Lidl is fast becoming one of the most popular supermarkets in UK, and that growth is owed to their efforts in telling their story through content and advertising campaigns.
We set out to create a campaign for Halloween that made the whole family come together in a funny and warm way.
Our Animators started developing the narrative through the storyboard helping shaping our vision to life. We’re also thinking about the feel for the campaign.
The storyboarding process is an easy and quick way to iterate andsharpen ourscript. Later we moved into 3D for pre-visualization and eventually the final movie.
Filming the Lidl store gave us the environment necessary, but it also meant we had to take extra steps to ensure everything looked amazing.
Perhaps the biggest challenge we’ve tackled was that by introducing the monsters we wouldn’t loose the warmth the campaign asked for, it was featured on TVC, online film, and social media posts.
